Rodolfo Rudy Valdez

Rodolfo "Rudy" Marquez Valdez, 58, of Farmington, went home to the loving arms of his Savior on Thursday, April 1, 2010. Rudy was born April 16, 1951, in Satevo, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Isabel and Sara Valdez. Rudy was a resident of Farmington for 20 years and was employed by Foutz and Bursum for 12 years. Rudy was a loving spouse, father, and grandfather. He was prceded in death by his parents and one son, Leif. He is survived by his wife, Viola Valdez of Farmington; five sons, Adam Valdez, Ruben Valdez, Roman Valdez, Ezekiel Ponder, Thaddeus Ponder and wife, Yesenia; five daughters, JoLeigh Ortiz, Shanna Ponder, Heidi Brito and husband, Eleuterio, Chantel Ponce, Sidney Tarango and husband, Toribio; 21 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, five brothers and one sister. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Viola Valdez at any branch of Citizens Bank.
