Roger G. Fisher

August 13, 1933 — July 24, 2022

Roger G. Fisher passed away peacefully at his home in Rio Rancho, New Mexico on Sunday July 24, 2022. Roger was born August 13,1933 to Fredrick William and Isabel (Marco) Fisher in an old two story farm house that had no electricity or indoor plumbing in the town of Lamartine, Wisconsin. In June of 1949, word got out that Roger was holding a dance party at his home. Over a short conversation in study hall, Marlys Dornberg invited herself to attend and that was the beginning of a long and wonderful relationship.

Roger graduated from Lowell P. Goodrich High School in June of 1951 and he and Marlys were married April 18, 1953.  In 1957, Roger was employed by Les Toll TV and in 1960 partnered with Les and later, Roger’s brother, Ken, also became a partner. After many successful years the business closed in 1989.

After the death of Roger’s wife Marlys in October of 1981, Roger met and later married Regina Hoffman on November 12, 1982. Roger and Gina later moved to Rio Rancho, New Mexico, where they resided, making many memories till Roger’s death.

Roger is survived by his wife Regina; four children, Sharon (Dan) Deer, Ken (Barb) Fisher, Bill (Kathy) Fisher, Betty (Scott) Parmenter; 12 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; (two more on the way); and one great great grandson on the way; sister-in-law, Beverly Fisher; many nieces and nephews; and very special friends, Corrine and Mitch Robison.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Isabel; three sisters, Grace (Roy) Marco, Geraldine (Nick) Poepping, Alice (Eugene) Osborne; and brother, Ken Fisher.

Visitation will be held at the Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin on August 20, 2022 from 10:00 till 11:00AM, followed by a short service.

The Fisher family would like to express our heart felt thanks to special friends, Corrine and Mitch Robison, for their generous and consistent help and support given to Roger and Regina over the years; and especially to Rogers family during this difficult time.
