Ronald Jason Begay

Ronald Jason Begay, 38, of Farmington, passed away Sunday, August 1, 2010 in Farmington. He was born December 1, 1971 in Denver, Colorado to Ted and Mae Begay. Ronald is survived by his wife, Monica Begay, daughters, Danielle Werito Begay and Ethan Franco, Ashley Begay and Alexandra Duval of Niagara Falls, NY,, his father, Ted Begay and Stepfather James D. Ray, brothers, Skylar Wolf and Jenifer Soto, Jameson and Lavina Ray, Jonathan Ray, and sisters, Dee and Christopher Kie, Jacqueline Ray, Rayleen Ray, Tonya Begay, Trudy Begay. Also surviving are one grandson, Luciano Franco, whom he has yet to meet, Aunt Elaine and Keith Shelby, Uncles Peter Begay and Robert Begay, nephews, Shaunde Kie, Jameson Ray, Jr., Sage Yazzie, Shyloh Yazzie, Sylas Yazzie, Romondo Black, Christopher Kie, Jr., Raydon Ray, Cheyenne Begay, Keithen Woody and nieces, Zaylynn Ray, Jasmine Ray, Savannah Ray, Seneca Begay, Wynona Tucker, Autumn Black Begay and Mataya Wolf. He was preceded in death by, his mother, Mae Ray, brothers, Darrel Ray and Timothy Begay, Aunt Nancy Willie, and Uncle Dennis Begay, Grandparents Dick and Virginia Begay, grandparents James Sr. and Flora Ray. Ronald attended Grants High School and moved to Bloomfield in 1990 where he attended Bloomfield High School. In 1994 he married the love of his life, Monica Werito. He was employed by Turbocare for the past two years. He enjoyed fishing, playing the guitar, being goofy, horseback riding and spending time with his family. Visitation for Ronald will be held on Thursday, August 5, 2010 from 5:00 " 7:00 pm. at Brewer, Lee & Larkin Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, August 6th at 10:00 a.m. at Brewer, Lee & Larkin Chapel with Pastor Lionel Camacho officiating. Interment will follow at St. Lukes Cemetery, Carson, NM. Pallbearers will be Jerry Begay, Delbert Roughsurface, Salvador Jaramillo, Ethan Franco, Gilbert Werito, Jr. and Jethro Yazzie. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ashley Begay, Danielle Werito Begay, James Ray, Jameson Ray, Skylar Wolf, Jonathan Ray, Rayleen Ray, Jacqueline Ray, Keith Shelby, Elaine Shelby and the employees of Turbocare.
