Rosaura (Rose) Montoya Holland - Penticoff OUR COURAGEOUS, OUR HONORABLE, OUR HERO, WENT TO HEAVEN on Sunday, December 6, 2009 in Aztec. Rose was born on May 2, 1933 in Governador, New Mexico to Emigran and Sofia Montoya. She was one of sixteen children. She is survived by daughter's Sophie (Kim) Townsend, Marilynn (Tony) Marquez and Pat White, son Buck Holland, grandchildren Marie Townsend, Toby Townsend, Anthony (Hollis) Marquez, Daniel Marquez, great grandchildren Cebastian Marquez, Dacia Marquez, Danika Marquez, sister's Ernestine Kittle and Edalia Gomez, brother Paul Montoya, sister-in-law's Lucy Quintana,Viola Montoya, special friends, Jennifer Wills, Pat Merkel and Katrina Cardenas, numerous aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Emigran and Sofia Montoya Husband's - Blue Holland, Jim Penticoff , Grandson - Jacob Marquez, Brothers - Ben Montoya, Hipolito Montoya, Isaac Montoya, Tony Montoya, Phil Montoya, Jerry Montoya, Efren Montoya, Elias Montoya, Seferino Montoya, Nan Montoya, Ruymaldito Montoya and Sister - Edna Madrid.
