Rose P. Herrera

HERRERA - Rose P. Herrera, age 76, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, passed away Monday, August 16, 2010. She was a life long resident of Counselor, NM, where she was a homemaker. Rose enjoyed weaving, bead work, quilting, sewing and sheep herding. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ella Pablo and Felix Herrera; and son, Peter Herrera; and brother, Andy Pablo. Rose is survived by her husband, Pete Herrera; her children, Johnson, Phillip, Rita Herrera, Elizabeth and Lydia Toledo; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; her brother, Joe Pablo; sisters, Lucille Mullahon, Mary Curley, Rena Vasquez, Elizabeth Silversmith and Sara Thomas; other numerous relatives and friends. Rose will be greatly missed by all. Funeral Services for Rose will be conducted Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the Cedar Hill Church in Counselor, NM. Interment will follow at the Counselor Community Cemetery. Casket Bearers will be his grandsons, Todd, Teryl, Titus, Thaddeus and Sheldon Toledo and Bryon Pablo. Honorary Bearers will be Pete Herrera, Johnson Herrera, Phillip Herrera and Joe Pablo.
