Age 97, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2016. She was born in St. Johns, MI on June 19, 1919, to Frank S. and Mary (Susta) Bonc. Rose was a resident of Rio Rancho since 2000. She loved working on crossword puzzles, crocheting, visiting with family and friends, and an early interest of hunting and fishing in her home state of Michigan. She really loved all things in nature. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Harry Rhodes, son, Dennis Rhodes; two sisters and 2 brothers. Rose is survived by her two children; Dawn Barnes and husband Jim;
Doug Rhodes and wife Cindy; eight grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Rose's honor to a veteran's organization of one's choice. No services are scheduled at this time.
