Rose quietly passed away surrounded by her husband and children after a four-month battle with pancreatic cancer. She was the youngest of five, born in Manila, Philippines on September 14, 1967, to Angelino and Presentacion Perez. Rose Attended Colegio de San Juan de Letran where she earned a degree in Marketing. Shortly after graduating in 1988, she met her husband, Ferdinand. They married on March 10, 1990, and were married 33 years before her passing.
In 1993, they moved to California with their three-year-old daughter, Aimee. Ferdinand joined the U.S. Navy a year later and moved to Virginia where Ferdinand would ultimately be stationed.
In October of 2000 Rose and Ferdinand welcomed their second daughter, Jules, into the world. Over the years, Rose worked in various jobs. She became a factory worker, a Certified Nursing Assistant, and even a real estate agent. She ended up working as a Pharmacy Technician, and for the last thirteen years until her passing, worked at the UNM Hospital in Albuquerque.
Rose’s main hobby was photography, but she dabbled in interior design. She enjoyed singing, dancing, and listening to music on vinyl records – of which she had a vast collection. Her true passion, however, was her family. Rose was a loving wife, a nurturing mother, and the biggest fan of her grandchildren, whom she loved immensely and had a limitless supply of love for.
Rose is survived by her husband, Ferdinand, her children, Aimee and Jules, and two grandchildren, Grayson and Mary-Jean, with another grandchild on the way. Rose’s life will be celebrated 11am on June 9, 2023, at the Daniels Family Funeral Services Chapel at 2400 Southern Blvd. SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124.
