Rosemary Magure

Rosemary Magure was born on Rosetember 7, 1965. Rose would say that September was really “Rosetember” and her friends and family celebrated her birthday the whole month! She passed away unexpectedly on January 26, 2023.  She was born to Vincenta Magure and Harry Magure Sr. She is preceded in death by her Mother, Father, and dear brother Harry. Rosemary graduated from Eldorado High School in 1983 and attended the University of New Mexico, where she was a proud member of the Pi Beta Phi Sorority.

She married Matthew Johnson in 1993 and was honored to be the mother to her son Dominic Johnson. Dominic was the love of Rosemary’s life and her heart was always full of pride and love for him.

Rosemary worked for Legacy Mortgage the past twelve years.  Rose was a hardworking, dedicated, and loyal employee that was loved by all who worked with her.

Her friendships were held close to her heart. Her love was unconditional and nurturing to family as well as friends. She fiercely protected everyone she loved. She was known for remembering the date for every birthday, anniversary, and more. Rose will never be forgotten. 

That beautiful smile.  Her witty sense of humor.  Her fierce protectiveness.  We know you are at peace and reunited with your momma and Harry, but life will never be the same without you.

We will be celebrating Rosemary’s life on Friday, March 3. A Rosary and Internment will be at 11:00 am at the Gate of Heaven Chapel, which is located at the southwest corner of Wyoming NE and Paseo del Norte NE. The Memorial will be at Tanoan Country Club, 10801 Academy NE at 4:00 pm.
