Rosie Chavez

CHAVEZ-Rosie Chavez, 70, a life long resident of Albuquerque, NM went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Sunday June 27, 2010. Rosie was born to Placido and Angelita Chavez on January 1, 1940.Rosie is survived by her children Angela Reyes and Robert Chavez; grandchildren Francisco and Alexis Chavez, and Phillip Reyes; sisters Rita Gurule, Nellie Salazar, Mary Alice Fierro and Martha Abila. Rosie is preceded in death by her loving husband of 26 years, Frank Chavez; her parents; grandson Mario Chavez; and brothers and sisters. Rosie loved spending time with her grandchildren playing cards or board games. She enjoyed going to the casino and watched the Young and The Restless faithfully. Rosie will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Bearers are Ken Romero, Domicindo Vallejos, Henry Chavez, David Sanchez, Phil Chavez and Nathan Chavez; Honorary Bearers are John Salazar and Julian Chavez.
