Roy Herman

Herman died June 22, 2010, in Thoreau. He was born Feb. 24, 1919, in Archer City, Texas. Herman was a resident of Thoreau since 1930. He was the owner and operator of Herman Garage, Thoreau. He was member of First Baptist Church, Thoreau and was an Air Force veteran. Survivors include his wife, Frances of Thoreau; sons, Frank T. Herman of Bloomfield, James M. Herman of Thoreau; daughters, Amy Clay of San Antonio, Texas, Eula Michaels of Albuquerque, Elva Calhoun of Aztec; 22 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren. Herman was preceded in death by his parents; brother; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jack Ledingham Sr., Bob Marsh, Jeff Carver, Johnny Gail, Mark Morris, Keith Callison.
