Ruby L. Clark

Ruby Clark, 62, a resident of Rio Rancho, NM, passed away in her home on August 18, 2018. She was surrounded by family and loved ones both during this time and through a two year battle with cancer.

She was the daughter of the late Daniel and Josefita Romero Salazar and was born in Las Vegas, NM on December 2,1955. She married Vernon Clark, the son of the late Chester and Clara Boyd Clark. Ruby worked as a medical care taker the last decade of her life.

Besides her parents, she preceded in death by her brothers: Eloy Salazar, Ernest Salazar, Levi Salazar and his wife Ercilia Salazar, and her step-son Anthony Clark.

She is survived by her husband, Vern Clark, her children: Donnietta Hays and husband Justin, and Vernon Clark and wife Jaclyn; Brothers:Mike Salazar and wife Gloria, Joaquin Salazar and wife Rose, Max Salazar and wife Velma, Daniel Salazar and wife Berna; Sister in law Aurelia Salazar, all of Los  Vigiles; Grandchildren: Selena, Serenity, and Xavier Hays; Jade, Jenna and Jewel Clark; Sheyenne, Sierra, Antoniamarie, Andraya and Anthony II Clark; and two great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held August 29th at Daniel's Family Services, 4310 Sara Rd in Rio Rancho from 3:00 p.m until 5:00 p.m. Church service will be held at 10:00 a.m. at New Life Church, 2701 American Rd SE in Rio Rancho NM; Following the church service will be a reception until 1:00 p.m; The family will be leaving at this time to Santa Fe for her final resting at the Santa Fe National Cemetery  for her final resting, promptly at 3:00 p.m.
