Rufina Vigil

Rufina Vigil, 83, of Farmington, our beloved mother went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 14, 2010, in Farmington. She was born May 1, 1927, in Cuba, N.M., to Bentuda and Refugio Jaramillo. She was married in 1945 to Reyes Vigil. They were married for 64 years. She was currently employed at Basin Health Services in Farmington as a care giver, and was recently named Care Giver of the Month. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Joe. She is survived by her husband, Reyes Vigil; daughters, Nancy (Bill) Hirni, Susie Vigil, Vickie Lucero, Diana (Rudy) Francisco and Sandra "That's my Baby" Vigil-Pronio and Mike Pronio; sons, Raymond (Helen) Vigil, Celedonio "Sobo" Vigil and Kathy Johnson and Angelo "Ray" (Tammy) Vigil; 17 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchilden and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Rosary will be at 10 a.m. Monday, May 17, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 2100 E. 20th St. in Farmington. Mass of Christian Burial will follow the Rosary on Monday, May 17, at St. Mary's Catholic Church.
