Russell Eugene Hiner

Russell Eugene Hiner, 68, passed away at home on June 06,2024.  Russell was born in Grand Junction, CO to Agnes Frances Koshak and Hartsel Clyde Hiner who preceded him in death.  He married Regina Rockwell in November 1974. They lived in Rifle, CO until 1987 when they re-located to Albuquerque, NM. Russ worked in the commercial construction industry and was a construction superintendent when he retired. Russ loved his family, watching his grandkids activities, everything outdoors including his yard and decorating it for Halloween and Christmas, hunting and fishing. 

He is survived by his wife Regina, daughter Jennifer Cavagnaro (Robert) of Lake Oswego, OR, son Kenneth of Albuquerque, NM, five grandchildren, Kylie S Hiner, Kade O Cavagnaro, Payton E Cavagnaro, Avery G Cavagnaro, Brynn N Cavagnaro. Sisters Linda Trujillo, Sherry Hiner and Pam Martin (Jimmy), 2 sister in laws, a brother in law and several nieces and nephews. 

 Services will be held on July 3, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Daniels Family Funeral Services (Formerly Vista Verde) located at 4310 Sara Road SE Rio Rancho, NM 87124. 

 In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to National Park Services, www.nps.gov or American Diabetes Assoc. www.diabetes.org.
