Rusty Dean Jordan, born Dec. 15, 1985, returned to his Father in Heaven on Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011.
He graduated from Piedra Vista High School with the Class of 2004, and served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Mission in Minneapolis, Minn. Rusty and Alysha Kelsey of Blackfoot, Idaho, were married June 7, 2008. Rusty was employed by Farmington Fire Equipment and Safety. He was loved and cherished by all who knew him. He had a big heart and willing hands. He was always serving others whether asked to or not. Rusty was brave, valiant and venturous. He was an amazing uncle who was very involved in the lives of his nieces and nephews.
Rusty is survived by his loving wife, Alysha; his parents, Randy and Valerie Jordan; grandmother, Josie Jordan; siblings, Rocky (Lindsay) Jordan, Cammie (Roger) Fawcett, Bobby (Kali) Jordan and Kristi (Harish) Raghavan; five nieces and four nephews; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He will be greatly missed by all, but we draw comfort from knowing that we will be with him again.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Stake Center, 4400 College Blvd. in Farmington, with Bishop George Payne conducting.
Interment will follow at Memory Gardens, 6917 E. Main St. in Farmington.
Pallbearers are Rocky Jordan, Harish Raghavan, Nick Taylor, Bobby Jordan, Roger Fawcett and Justin Kelsey. Brewer, Lee & Larkin Funeral Home
