Ruth M. Anderson

Anderson, Ruth M. Age 99, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2013. She was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas on March 20, 1913. Ruth grew up in Ft. Stanton, New Mexico. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Carrizozo, New Mexico. During World War II Ruth did her part to help the war effort and worked as an original �Rosie the Riveter�. She was also, an original employee of Pioneer Wear. She is preceded in death by her husband James Anderson. Ruth is survived by her granddaughter Jillian Swift and husband James; nephew James B. Landers and wife Amelia. Ruth will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 17, 2013 from 4:00pm - 7:00pm in the Strong-Thorne Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services, 1100 Coal Ave. SE. A Service will be held on Friday, January 18, 2013 at Cristo Del Valle Presbyterian Church, 3907 Isleta Blvd. SW at 10:00 am; Interment to follow at Fairview Memorial Park.
