Sally Powell, age 61, passed away May 23, 2024 in Cuba, NM. She was born August 21, 1962 to her parents Fidencio and Rogeria Olivas in Cuba, NM.
She attended Cuba High School and received her diploma in 1980.
She is survived by her husband, Alfred Martinez.
She was preceded in death by her: parents, Fidencio and Rogeria Olivas, brother, Victor Olivas and grandparents.
She is also survived by her: son, Salvador Martinez and wife Amanda Martinez; grandchildren, Justin and Janessa Martinez; stepdaughters: Raquel, Leticia, Janice and Brianne; siblings: Lucinda (Terry), Christina (Allen), Carolyn (Manuel), Rick (Ruth), Larry, Valentina, Gina (Tony), Jerry (Mary), Veronica (Terry), Martin (Shannon); several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.
Sally worked for the Cuban Cafe for several years before transitioning to the Sandoval County Senior Center. Sally was a member at the Immaculate Conception Church in Cuba, NM where she proudly served as a Guadalupana.
Sally loved getting her hair and nails done, online shopping and spoiling her Grandkids.
