Sam Platero

PLATERO - Sam Platero, age 74 beloved father, grandfather, and brother, passed away Sunday, September 19, 2010. He was born in Pueblo Pintado, NM and was a resident of Torreon, NM. He was Veteran of the United States Army. Sam is survived by his children, Myron “Ken” Platero and Marilyn Perez; nine grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. Sam will be greatly missed by all. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Torreon Mission, in Torreon, NM, with Pastor Paul Skiles officiating. Interment will follow at the Torreon Mission Cemetery. Casket Bearers will be Myron Platero, Mychal Platero, Eric Montoya, Jerome Sandoval Edison Platero, and Titus Toledo.
