Sandra Nadine Hollingsworth

SANDRA (SANDY) NADINE HOLLINGSWORTH, 81,  a longtime resident of Corrales, NM and a former resident of Rancho Palos Verdes, died September 24, 2019.  Sandy was an avid gardener and dedicated volunteer at numerous charities, including the Blue Portal art and craft shop operated by Assistance League of Albuquerque, NM, and the Assistant League of San Pedro, CA.  While affiliated with the San Pedro chapter, she served as chapter president and was a leader in the effort to build the new chapter house and gift shop. Sandy was born in Glendale, CA and graduated from the University of Southern California. She taught elementary school in the Glendale area for several years. Sandy is survived by John, her husband of 56 years; two sons Jeff (Petrina) of Potomac, MD and Greg (Leslie) of Rancho Palos Verdes, CA; and five grandchildren: Robin, Lani, Nate, Trent, and Matthew.  A memorial service will be held November 30, 2019, 11:00 AM -2:00 PM at  Pacific Unitarian Church in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA.
