Sandra "Sandy" Formes

Sandra “Sandy” Formes, 75, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023. She was born January 6th, 1948 in Albuquerque; to Marie and Ralph T. Osborn Jr. 

Sandy is survived by a daughter and a granddaughter. Sandy was preceded in death by her husband, Stanwood Formes.

Sandy graduated from Sandia High School and attended the University of New Mexico, and lived in the heart of Albuquerque her entire life. Sandy was a kind and caring person and was especially fond of her many cats that gave her much joy and happiness. She also enjoyed gardening, art, reading , baking, and she loved collecting rocks outdoors. Sandy gave to those in need and cared for animals and nature. Anyone who met and knew her was greeted with hospitality and kindness. Sandy loved Albuquerque, it’s people and unique culture, and she loved the mountains surrounding it. She will be greatly missed.
