Sarah Lillian Hall

Sarah Lillian Hall, 87, of Farmington, passed away Saturday, May 29, 2010 at San Juan Regional Medical Center in Farmington. She was born August 28, 1922 in San Antonio, TX, the daughter of Lillian (Goodenough) and Otto Kinsley. Sarah and her husband, Ralph, were long-time residents moving to Farmington in 1950.
Sarah loved children, raising five of her own that blossomed into 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She worked several years with kindergarten children before she explored her managerial talents with the United Blood Service and later as a member of the Board of Directors, and San Juan Chapter of the American Red Cross. Her contributions were recognized by awards of “Woman of the Year" and “Clara Barton Volunteer of the Year” by the American Business Woman’s Association and American Red Cross respectively. She was active in the leadership of the First Presbyterian Church as a Deacon and member of the Presbyterian Women’s Association.
Sarah was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Hall; her father and mother, her daughters, Sarah Katherine Blanch and Ada E. Davis.
She is survived by her son, William K. Hall and wife Brucelyn; daughters, Marianna Morrison, and husband Wayne, Lillian Rose and husband Mike, grandchildren, Sabrina, Heather, Emily, Joshua, Cheri, Thad, Seth, Amanda, Mason, Jeffory, Sarah, Gabrielle; and 14 great-grandchildren all of whom loved and cherished their “GG Sarah.” The family requests that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the San Juan Chapter of the American Red Cross, 2100 Cortland Drive, or your charity of choice.
