Scott Patterson, 77, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away peacefully on April 2026, surrounded by his family. He was born on August 17th,1948 in Lincoln, Illinois to Jack "Grumpy" Patterson and Mildred "Granny" Patterson (nee Lucas).

Scott spent several years as a professional golfer before starting a career with the US Postal service where he retired. His life was defined by his service to the US Navy in Vietnam where he served on a Tango Boat as a member of the Mobile Riverine Force. Scott was known for his love of video games, cartoons, golf, tinkering with computers, and all things Science Fiction -- particularly Star Trek.

He is survived by his wife Debi; his children Alethea (Aaron), Cipriana (Chris), and Travis (Matt); grandchildren Mia, Joseph, Camille, and Ciaran; and his beloved cats Sage and Dot. He was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Mildred; his brothers Mike, Ronnie, and Harvey; his sister Ruth Ellen; and his son Brian
