Sever E. Casias, age 37, passed away on June 6, 2026, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was born on March 6, 1989, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to Ramon and Sharon Casias.

Sever enjoyed spending his time playing video games and enjoyed playing basketball and baseball. Sever was a free spirit and had a great sense of humor.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Casias.

Sever is survived by his father, Ramon Casias Jr.; his stepmother, Robin Casias of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; his sister and brother-in-law, Maria and Roy Reed; his brother, Ramon Casias III; his sister, Kay Casias; and his brother, John Casias; his nephews Jared Reed and Jeremiah Thompson; his nieces Nicole Reed and Lily Montoya; and his great nice Marie Herrera.

A Graveside Service will take place on June 15, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. at Vista Verde Memorial Park, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, New Mexico 87124.

A reception will follow at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 300 Loma Colorado Boulevard NE, Rio Rancho, New Mexico 87124.
