Sharon Woods

Sharon Codette Ray (Moore, Roberts, Woods) passed away February 8, 2024. Predeceased by her parents; Carrol and Lenore Ray, sister Betty, 4 brothers; Jimmy, Glen, Don and Randy, and son John T Moore.  Sharon was the last of the 6 siblings to walk on this earth.

Sharon was born in Denver, CO on April 13, 1947. She married Raymond Moore+ and had 4 children.  In 1970 she moved to Bloomfield, NM. Sharon married Jim Roberts+ and had her 5th child.   For the next 6 years the family would go out of state due to work, but always returned to the Farmington, NM area.  Sharon married Jerry Ross Woods+ and eventually moved to Arizona. Sharon, now a widow, returned to NM where she met George Hull+, her companion for several years.   Sharon became a grandmother.  Sharon began her relationship with Jeff Brooks and added 2 more children to her family.   Jeff and Sharon remained in Farmington until 2017 when they moved to Albuquerque, NM.  Sharon and Jeff shared 28 years together filled with many adventures.

Sharon’s 7 children:   Lynnette Quiroga (AZ), Susan Moore (Albuquerque), John Moore+(2001), David Woods (AZ), Link Roberts (Farmington), Chris Brooks (Albuquerque), Megan Martin (Albuquerque) blessed her with 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Sharon was naturally a social person and enjoyed visiting with friends and family.  She especially enjoyed dining out, cards, games, and her coca cola! Sharon, a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, an aunt, a grandmother, a great grandmother, and a friend leaves us with cherished memories.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 23, 2024 at 10:00am at Sagebrush Church. As well as Saturday, March 30, 2024 at World Harvesr Center at 12:00pm in Farmington, NM.
