Shaunbert Paul Jim John

Shaunbert Paul Jim John, 21, of Shiprock, died Sept. 16, 2010, in Shiprock. He was born March 29, 1989, in Farmington. Shaunbert attended Northwest High School and was employed by B & H Construction and Maintenance. He loved concerts, camping, fishing and basketball. Shaunbert enjoyed spending time with his grandparents, nephews and nieces who meant the world to him. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Jim John, Sr. Shaunbert is survived by his parents Geneva "Mikki" Nakaidinae and Herbert John; grandparents, Louise Nakaidinae, Paul Nakaidinae and Lena John; sisters Shelbert John, Rae Clah, Genova and Mike Welch, Shjanshelbanova "Sugar" John and Tamara John. Viewing will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday, Sept. 20, 2010, at Cope Memorial Kirtland Chapel, 458 County Road 6100, (505) 598-9636. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2010, at Four Corners Community Church in Shiprock. Pastor Eric Lee will officiate. Interment will be at Shiprock Cemetery in Shiprock.
