Shirley Flaherty

Shirley Janet Flaherty, 74, of Aztec, passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2010, in Farmington. She was born April 18, 1935, in Spearman, TX, to Edward and Mary Alice Howerton. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas D. Flaherty. She is survived by sons, Dennis and Gayle Flaherty, Richard and Kahn Flaherty, of Aztec; daughter, Connie Bacon of Westminster, CO; grandsons, Anthony and Joshua Bacon, Chris, Josh, and Louis Edwards; numerous great-grandchildren and grandchildren. Shirley enjoyed going out to Navajo Dam and staying out in the houseboat with family and friends. She will be remembered as a loving mother and wonderful friend.
