Steven Salk

Salk, Steven Edward 
Age 63, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2018. He was born in St. Cloud, MN on April 1, 1955, to Richard and Jean   Salk. Steven graduated for Albany high school in 1973 and went on to St. Cloud State University where he received his bachelor degree in Computer Science in 1978. He worked for IBM for 22 years. Steven enjoyed weaving, photography, cooking and entertaining family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jean Salk. Steven is survived by his wife of 43 years, Jessie L. Salk of Tijeras, NM; daughter, Dana Salk-Scheler of Edgewood, NM; son, Jared  Salk of Maastricht, Netherlands; father, Richard Salk of Albany, MN; grandchildren, Tyler Scheler, Tori Scheler, Tessa Scheler, Daniel  Scheler, Zara Salk. A celebration of Steve's life will be held in Albany, MN in the summer of 2019. In lieu of flowers donations may be given in Steven's honor to University of New Mexico Cancer Research .
