Piki e chi hullo! Chi pisa la chike!

Stewart transitioned to Heaven with his family by his side on May 9, 2022. He was born to Jacqueline Kay and Harry McLellan Whitley on September 9, 1957 in Torrance, California and was a proud tribal member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. Stewart attended Narbonne High School in Harbor City, California.

In his youth, he enjoyed bicycling and swimming both in the ocean and his family pool. His parents would often take the family water skiing in the family boat at lakes Shasta, Mohave and Havasu. He also enjoyed learning Taekwondo. He was quite the jokester and a bit mischievous; he was always making others laugh. Stewart was the life of the party!

As a young man, Stewart fell in love with Trudy Myers whom he met through a friend in California and they were married in 1982. They created many lasting heartfelt memories together as a family. After 25 years their journey together ended. They had 4 lovely children that he enjoyed tremendously. Stewart became a Master Plumber and practiced his trade with excellence for over 30 years. Later in life he met and married Dawn Finch whom he met through his workplace. They had many adventures and enjoyed each other’s love and companionship for several years before parting ways. Stewart was family oriented and enjoyed getting together often for barbecues, birthdays and holidays. Stewart was a VERY dedicated fisherman and enjoyed this hobby with his children and many other family members and friends.

Stewart cherished his best friends, Andy Myers, Dave O'Brien and Tim Vojtech with whom he had deep bonds. He was very patriotic. He enjoyed card games, dominoes, gardening and watching boxing and MMA. He was also a lifelong Raiders fan. Stewart was a very intelligent man. He was very generous to all and gave without hesitation. He loved to hold conversations and he spent a lot of time with his grandchildren whom he adored. He had a special bond with his eldest grandson, Calob. Stewart was so fun! He was a wonderful Christian man, he loved Jesus with all of his heart! He will be greatly missed.

Stewart was preceded in death by his father Harry and his siblings Pamela, Gayla, and Whit. His sister Valorie joined him in heaven only a few months after his death. His loved ones left behind include his children: Aaron (Vanessa), Brandon, Jesse (Anais) and Jacqueline (Matt); his grandchildren: Calob, Brenden, Raimye, Alyssia, Erika, Jazmyne, Estrella, Leland, Aaliyah, Ezekiel, Ruby, Perseus, and Scarlett; and his precious great-grandson: Kylo. He is survived by his mother Jacqueline and his siblings Kayla and Bobby. Stewart had many beloved aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. He loved them all dearly.
