Sue E. Suddarth

August 15, 1940 — February 14, 2019

Sue Ellen McGill Suddarth went on to glory surrounded by family on February 14, 2019 after an illness.

She was survived by two brothers, John McGill and wife Pat, and Wayne McGill of Texas; four Children, Joni Beaty and husband James, Kevin Suddarth and wife Susanna, Karla Jenkins and husband Thomas and Dawn Traffanstedt and husband Duane; fourteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and her faithful companion Platty.

She was proceeded in death by her parents George Henry McGill and Jewell Jemimah Fairchild McGill; three sisters, Delta Wilbur, Ana Ruth Carter and Garnet Fern McGill who passed away at a very young age; three brothers, Glen McGill, Ralph McGill and Fred McGill; a son Terry Leon Denman and granddaughter, Sky Anne Jenkins.

Sue was a very talented drapery seamstress who loved gardening, jewelry, The Lord and her grandchildren. We would like to thank the wonderful caretakers of Presbyterian Hospice, especially Jim and Sandy whom she loved, as well as, Travis who also held a very special place in her heart. “You made our journey sweeter.”

Services will be held Monday, February 18, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Strong ~ Thorne Chapel, 1100 Coal Ave. SE. The Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Park located at 700 Yale Blvd. SE.
