Susan Gardner-Garri

Gardner-Garri, Susan We are saddened to announce our dear friend Susan Gardner-Garri passed away on June 26, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on Dec. 29, 1946 in Warwick, NY. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Vince; her daughter Kara Sprague and grandson Tallon, both of Pine Bush, NY; sister Jill Wojtaszek of Port Jervis, NY; sister-in-law Marie Glazer of Margate, FL and many relatives and friends that were an important part of her life. After attending high school in Goshen, NY, Susan graduated from NYU as a nurse practitioner and began her many years in the nursing profession that she loved. She was always compassionate and a knowledgeable resource for parents, colleagues and students in the Rio Rancho Public Schools where she worked during her most recent years. A Celebration of Susan's Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for memorial contributions to be made to WMR Animal Rescue, 1512 Deborah Rd.
