Tara A. Velasquez

Tara A. Velasquez, age 51, passed away January 25, 2024 in Albuquerque, NM. She was born March 12, 1972 in Bakersfield, CA to her parents, Juan Velasquez and Margarita Jaramillo.

She attended and graduated from Albuquerque High School then went to Parks Beauty College.

She was preceded in death her brother, Juan J. Velasquez; grandmother, Victoria Perez; grandfather, Lucas Jaramillo; three aunts and two uncles.

She is survived by her mother, Margarita Jaramillo of Porterville, CA; father, Juan S. Velasquez of Albuquerque, NM; sons, Angelo Padilla and Oscar Romero of Albuquerque, NM; daughters, Justice Velasquez and Christiana Velasquez of Albuquerque, NM; granddaughter, Leilani Romero of Albuquerque, NM.

A Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 6, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM followed by a Funeral Service at 4:00 PM at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 3113 Carlisle Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM.

The family would like to express how grateful they are for the care that Tara received while a patient at Lovelace Women’s Hospital.
