Teddy Lee Shelton

July 22, 1946 — October 18, 2010

Teddy Lee Shelton went to meet his angels on October 18, 2010. He was born in Beaver Falls, PA., July 22, 1946, to Hailey Baker and Isaac Shelton. Ted served his country in the United States Marine Corps. While in the marines, Ted received a medal for honor of conduct. He worked in the oilfield in the Farmington area and made many friendships along the way. Ted loved his job and loved his oilfield family also. He was above all, a very dedicated and loving family man. Ted was a devoted husband to his wife, Joy A. Shelton, for 26 years. He and Joy were married in Paramount, CA. in 1984 and spent a loving lifetime together. Ted loved his family more than anything in the world. His wife, children and grandbabies made his heart beat. Ted leaves behind his loving wife, Joy,; three daughters, Stacey Ferguson, Nichole Dyer, and Melissa Shelton (Chris). He leaves behind his only son, Aaron Shelton. Ted leaves his greatest treasures behind, his five grandbabies, Alex and Erica Heuser, Shiloh, Tanashia, and Eistyn (Boo Boo) Bell. Ted’s greatest accomplishment was his family, and he will forever be missed by all. He was an amazing man, they don’t make “good ole boys “ like him anymore. He touched everyone around him and will leave a wonderful legacy behind for all to remember. Ted was preceded in death by his mom, Hailey “Frances” Baker, his father, Isaac Shelton; three brothers, L.C. Shelton, Ben Shelton, and James Anderson. He had many loving angels awaiting him.
