Terry Lynn Booze
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Terry Booze of Albuquerque, NM on March 29, 2024.
Terry, age 74, was a man of few words, yet his artistic and commanding presence spoke volumes as friends, families, and customers would attest. He was amazing in many ways: a self-taught guitarist who played in bands beginning in high school; an athletic guy who loved to play tennis; a general contractor and business owner of over 40 years; and a wonderful father, grandfather, son, uncle, brother, and partner in life to Elisabeth.
Besides his family and music, Terry’s legacy includes the many houses he built in the East Mountains and North Valley and those he painstakingly remodeled throughout New Mexico. He was a member of the US Army, drafted in 1972 and served in Korea. His valiant battle with cancer was legendary as so many caretakers reported. Terry’s willingness to undergo any treatment option to continue the fight for his life will be forever remembered by so many, along with his unforgettable smile and green eyes.
Terry is survived by his wife, Elisabeth Endean; his children Tamara Booze, Jesse Naylor, Lindsay Lannholm and their significant others Scott Eck, Jennifer McCasland-Naylor, and Jay Lannholm respectively; his grandchildren Alexiss, Kyler & his wife Alexis, Gavin, Kollin, and Kasey. He was also loved by numerous friends and other family members including sisters-in-law, a brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Virgil Booze, and his brother, Dennis Booze.
A Memorial Service for Terry will be held on Friday, May 17th at 2 pm at Daniel's Family Funeral & Cremations, 3113 Carlisle Blvd NE, 87110. This will be followed by a Celebration of Life on Sunday, May 19th. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Music Guild or the Veteran's Memorial Fund.
