Thelma Stuart Kistler

Thelma Stuart Kistler, 93, of Farmington, beloved mother and grandmother, died Saturday, May 15, 2010, at Cedar Ridge Nursing Home. She was born August 11, 1916, in Hastings, Colorado, to Peter Baxter and Flora Dotson. She grew up with one sister, Bernice Alter, who preceded her in death. Thelma was a very loving, caring mother who loved to read, care for her family and bake oatmeal cookies. She was a very dedicated Christian who served her Lord through the Methodist Church for over 50 years. She is survived by her children, Van Kistler and wife, Sandy, and Joyce Johnston and husband, Kirk. Thelma also leaves behind four adoring grandchildren, Heather and Lynette Kistler and Kirk and Jere Johnston. Thelma is entrusted to the care of: Daniels Family Funeral Services 804 N.
