Theodore (Ted) F. Bratcher

Theodore (Ted) F. Bratcher died on December 21, 2022. He was born on July 18, 1940 in Phoenix, Arizona to James and Lois Bratcher.

He married Kerry Emswiler on November 1, 1985 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and they were married for 37 years. Theodore was preceded in death by his father, James Bratcher, his mother, Lois Bratcher, his sisters Judy Bernal, Merle Bratcher and his brother Jim Bratcher.

Theodore (Ted) is survived by his spouse, Kerry Emswiler, his son Teddy Bratcher, his sister, Geri Lehr, and his brother Bill Bratcher. He is also survived by his pet dog, Prince.

Theodore worked at the United States Post Office for 20 years. Ted was in the Army, a Chief Warrant Officer for 20 years. His many Army decorations included the Army Commendation Medal, the Soldiers Medal National Defense Service Medal, and the Vietnam Service Medal, and Cross of Gallantry Medal.

Theodore enjoyed fishing and was a member of the VFW American Legion.

Inurnment will take place on Monday, January 16, 2023 at 2:00pm at Vista Verde Memorial Park.
