Theresa Ruby Rodriguez

Theresa Ruby Rodriguez, born November 22, 1950, passed away Monday, November 15th, 2025 with family and friends beside her and the knowledge that Jesus was waiting to greet her. Theresa was born in Albuquerque, but spent most of her childhood in Penasco, New Mexico, moving back to Albuquerque as a young woman and spending the remainder of her life in the South Valley.

Theresa was married to her husband Victor Rodriguez for 51 years and raised 3 children together. She is survived by her husband Victor; Regina, their daughter; Nathan, his wife Teresa, and his son Ryan; Adam, his wife Stephanie and his daughter Gabriella.

Theresa loved to spend time in her yard, taking care of her beautiful garden and feeding and enjoying the birds that came to visit. She especially enjoyed feeding and watching her hummingbirds. She also had a passion for her 7 turtles who lived in her backyard. She was inquisitive about so many things and was filled with a desire for knowledge. She will be remembered for her spirit of generosity, her independence and hard work.

In observing her wishes, Theresa's family has honored her passing in a small, private ceremony. In lieu of flowers friends are encouraged to celebrate her generosity by donating to the Roadrunner Food Bank or towards breast cancer awareness.
