Therese Meyer Rutledge

Therese Meyer Rutledge, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2009. Therese was born March 3, 1932 the daughter of Jesse and Carmen Meyer in Albuquerque. She attended St. Mary's Catholic School, graduating in the class of 1951. Therese went on to get her degree in nursing from Hotel Dieu in El Paso, TX. She spent 34 years of nursing at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque. Therese was a very resourceful person, and nursing and caring for people was her passion. She is survived by her three children, Carmen Nourse, John Brian Rutledge of Albuquerque, and Ann Marie Rutledge and fianc�?© Tom Swisstack of Rio Rancho; five grandchildren, Ruben John Garcia of Austin, TX, Katrina Celest Trout of Rio Rancho, Miranda, Brianna, and Audrey Bella Rutledge of Albuquerque; brother, Jesse Meyer of Albuquerque; sister, Ann Marie Adams and husband Len of Phoenix, AZ; nieces and nephews, extended family and many friends. She will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. We all love you mother. It's time for you to go with the Lord.
