Thom S. Andrzejewski

Thom Andrewz (Thomas S. Andrzejewski) age 77, resident of Rio Rancho, New Mexico since 2002, died on Monday, July 3, 2023 comfortably at home after an extended hospital stay.

Thom is survived by his brother Richard Andrzejewski (wife Margaret) living in Lafayette, Indiana, niece Dr. Tiffany Andrzejewski (Anthony Deardorf) living in Chicago, Illinois, nephews, Chris Andrzejewski (Jennifer) living in Indianapolis, Indiana, Matthew Andrzejewski (Alexandra) living in Carmel, Indiana, and by dear friend Shirley Skulimowski living in Palos Park, Illinois. Thom was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Ann Andrzejewski from Toledo, Ohio.

Thom graduated from University of Toledo with a BA in Art and Ray Vogue School of Fashion Design in Chicago, Illinois.

Thom was an active member of St. Michael & All Saints Episcopal Church, Common Bond, NM, New Mexico Gay Men's Chorus, Southwest Gay and Lesbian Film Festival, Wild Bunch and Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, as well as a member of many Albuquerque museums. Thom was open to adventures great and small and he sure loved to party. He was fiercely independent and lived his life his way fully and openly until the very end.

A Memorial Service will be celebrated on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Michael & All Angels Church, 601 Montano Rd. NW, Albuquerque, NM.

Cremation will be handled by Daniels Family Funeral Services - Sara Chapel. Should friends desire, memorial contributions can be made to Animal Humane New Mexico.
