Age 65, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015. He was born in Phoenix, AZ on August 10, 1949, to Samuel and Blanche English. He was preceded in death by his father Samuel; mother Blanche; and nephew Richard T. English. Thomas is survived by his daughter Quiana English; grandkids Mystica and Caine Lovato, and Rocky Candeleria, Daughter Shannon Wells and grandkid Tristin Wells; brothers Samuel, Ronnie and Robert English; Sister Donna English, and family, Audrey Bird, along with many nieces and nephews and family.
Thomas served with the United States Marine Corps from 1971-1975, and was awarded with the honorable medals. The National Defense Service Medal and Rifle Marksmanship Badge. He played basketball for the Tulasrosa High School, the Sanchez basketball team, the Warriors and Marine Corp and was a Chippewa member of Turtle Mountain Band and Red Lake Nation.
Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at 11:30 am, at the VA Hospital Chapel, 1501 San Pedro Dr SE, Albuquerque, NM.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday July 22, 2015 at 10 am, at Daniels Family Funeral, Carlisle Chapel, 3113 Carlisle Blvd, NE, Albuquerque, NM. Services will be continued at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 pm. "Amuga-Amuga" Oorah
