Thomas Lee Fisher

January 23, 1934 — June 29, 2022

Thomas Lee Fisher passed away Wednesday, June, 29, 2022, in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.  He was 88 years of age.  He was born January, 23, 1934 in Portales, New Mexico, to Willie Perl Fisher and Emma Evelyn Fisher (Edwards), who preceded him in death.  He is also preceded in death by 4 sisters and 2 brothers.  He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Patricia Anne Fisher, a brother, John Henry Fisher, of Midland Texas, step-son Chris Stinson, of Belen, New Mexico, step-daughter Cyndi Thomas of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.   Tom served in the U. S. Army where he was in the ski troops, stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska. After his honorable discharge, Tom worked for the Atchison Topeka Santa Fe and Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway for 41 years as a train dispatcher.  In March of 1971, he married the love of his life, Patricia Anne Fisher, in Winslow, Arizona, where they resided for 30 years, before he was transferred to Albuquerque, New Mexico.  He retired in 1993 and remained in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.  Tom was an avid and accomplished bowler and a talented artist.  Tom also enjoyed target shooting, and won many marksmanship awards in Arizona State match competitions.  Tom will be terribly missed by his family and friends.  Daniels Funeral is in charge of arrangements.  Private Internment will be in Winslow, Arizona at a later date.
