Thomas Ronald Sartain (Ron) received his angel wings on June 17, 2023, when the Lord called him to his forever home. Ron was born in Del Norte, Colorado to Willie and Doris Sartain.

Ron graduated from Grand Junction High School. Following graduation, he served in the US Navy for four years, where he received training as an Air Traffic Controller. After serving in the military Ron relocated to Albuquerque, New Mexico where he worked for the Federal Administration Agency as an Air Traffic Controller for over 20 years before retiring.

ln addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Bob Sartain, Tommy Ruth, and Douglas Eugene.

Ron was a proud and loving Father and is survived by three daughters: Elizabeth Ann Sartain (Charles), Brynn Sartain-Baca, and Shawnda Sartain (Bryan). Ron was also blessed as a Grandfather with five grandchildren: Shanna Ahrens, Desiree Klitzke (Riley), Derek Gauny, Deja Sartain-Holmes and Liliana Sandoval.

ln special recognition, Ron shared an extraordinary and loving bond with his granddaughter, Deja Sartain-Holmes, who was his bright ray of sunshine!

Ron had a special bond with his predeceased best friend, JB Bostic, and Esther Bostic, as well as a longtime friend, Jim Whitehead.

Ron was a man of God and had many longtime friends where he attended church for many years. A special word of gratitude for the Mountainside Church of Christ membership.

Ron was a gentle and kind man to all and a very giving person who will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.

A memorial and celebration of his life will be held on June 24, 2023 at Mountainside Church of Christ. Contact family for more info.
