Timothy
Kominiak
Dec 29, 1964 — Oct 12, 2026
December 29, 1964 – October 12, 2026
Tim Kominiak, 61, went to be with his dad, his “Big Guy,” on October 12, 2026. He’s probably already singing with Elvis. Whether Elvis was ready for a duet is another question.
Born in Patterson, New Jersey, and raised in Corrales, Tim loved music, a good party, and being unapologetically himself. Known as the Watchman, the Miracle Man, and the most honest, authentic man in the world, he noticed the little things in life most of us miss and made sure we noticed them, too. He rarely missed an opportunity to be a charmer. If you met him, you remembered him. If you were a lady, he made especially sure of it.
Tim graduated from Manzano High School and worked at ARCA for many years. An avid bowler who also competed in swimming and track and field, he earned multiple gold medals in the Special Olympics. Along the way, he collected victories, hearts, and stories that his family and anyone who met him will be telling for years. The medals were official. The charm needed no judging.
The son of George and Patricia Kominiak, Tim is survived by his mother, Pat; his brother Scott and Scott’s partner, Patricia Norris; his brother Matthew and Matthew’s wife, Christine; his nephews, Owen and his fiancée, Isabelle, and Tice and his wife, Isabel; and his cousin Michael. He leaves them all with countless reasons to smile, shrug their shoulders, let it go, and turn the music up.
The world could use more Tim.
