DEBLASSIE-Tom “Pop” DeBlassie, 93, a life long resident of Albuquerque, NM, passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2010. He is survived by his children, Robert DeBlassie and wife Rose of Albuquerque, NM, Helen Valdez and husband Euvaldo of Niwot, CO, Margaret Ruiz and husband Ben of Corrales, NM, Steven DeBlassie and wife Gina of Albuquerque, NM; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one brother, Earl DeBlassie and wife Mila of Albuquerque, NM; brother-in-laws, John Gutierrez, Ralph Gutierrez and wife Helen; sister-in-laws, Genevieve Durand and husband Prudy, and Emma Gutierrez; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Tomasita in 2008. Tom was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending as much time as he could with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
