Tom Johnson

Tom Johnson, 94, of Shiprock, died Sunday, Oct. 17, 2010, at his home. He was born Dec. 20, 1915, in Farmington. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Johnson; daughter, Rita Benally; and brother, John Johnson. He is survived by his daughters, Tammy (Royvino) Wilson, Vicki (Nelson) Bedoni, Ada (Donald) Bitah, Mable (William Jr.) Lee, Susan Ramone, Janet Begay and Frieda Johnson; sons, Jerry Johnson (Marry), Anthony Johnson (Genievie) and Joe Ramone; 37 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. today, Thursday, Oct. 21, at Ojo Amarillo United Methodist Church in Ojo Amarillo. The Rev. Fred Yazzie will officiate.
