Tom, age 93 passed away Thursday February 14, 2019 at his home in Water Canyon with his family by his side. He was born in Las Vegas, NV on October 1, 1925, to Frank and Elizabeth Tinguley Kelly. When Tom was 2 years old, his family moved back to New Mexico to live on the family ranch. His family established the ranch at Water Canyon back in the early 1880’s. Tom was drafted in the US Army after graduating Magdalena high school and served in the Philippines. Tom was a rancher and cowboy all of his life. He served a term as Socorro County Commissioner and was a member of the New Mexico Cattle Growers Association. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Jim Kelly. Tom is survived by his wife Hilda Kincaide Kelly; daughter Sue Williams and husband Joseph their daughters Anna Langley and husband Jim, Heather Van Husen, husband Mark; daughter Kimberly Gard and children Kelly and wife Nicole, Sarah and husband Jake Osborn; son Mike and wife Delrae, sons Bradley and Wesley and his wife Caitlyn, and numerous great grandchildren. Graveside Services will be held on Monday, February 18, 2019, at 12:00 P.M., at the Kelly Family Ranch near the Water Canyon Camp Grounds, 20 miles west of Socorro. Pallbearers will be Bradley Kelly, Wesley Kelly, Kindell Kelly, Wyatt Kelly, Marvin Gard, Kelly Gard and Jake Osborn.
