Tommy D. Nevarez

NEVAREZ-Tommy D. Nevarez Sr., 83, loving husband, father, grandfather and friend went home to be with our Lord and Savior Monday, December 6, 2010. Tommy was born in Silver City, NM on July 5, 1927. Tommy bravely served our Country in the United States Marines. Tommy loved his family and was dedicated member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He is preceded in death by his son, Robert Nevarez. Tommy is survived by his loving wife Beatrice of 59 years; his brother Art; sons Tommy Jr. and wife Frances, David and wife Helen; nine grandchildren Yvette, Valarie, Bobby, Dennis, Estavan, Frank Anthony, Johnny, Frances Ann, Eutimia ; 14 great-grandchildren Ammerette, Alexis, Johnny M, Emilio, Charles Frank, Peter, David, Dominic, Rosalie, Destiny, Andres, Dominique S., Estavan S., Angelo; two great-great grandchildren Vincent and Ethyn; daughter in law Rosemary and numerous other family and friends. Tommy will be missed by all who knew and loved him. A Visitation will take place in the Chapel of Angels of Garcia Mortuary Thursday, December 9, 2010 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a reciting of the Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m.; Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 301 Stover SW, Friday December 10, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. with Interment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
