Velma Harris

HARRIS - Velma Harris, 86, passed away on August 04, 2009. She was born August 01, 1923, in Grady County, OK, to William and Goldie Bennett. Velma is survived by her three children, Paula Avery and her husband Rod, Katherine Brodie and her husband Rick, and Sharon Harris; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and her brother, Otis Bennett. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, Jay Dee. Velma was an active member of the Peace Makers Quilting group, and a devoted member of the Hoffmantown Church.
