Vernon E Williams

Vernon E. Williams, 77, of Farmington, passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2010 in Farmington. He was born November 19, 1932 in Martinsville, Illinois to Royal and Viola Williams. Vernon moved to Farmington in 1956 with his wife, Lu-Ann (Alma) Daugherty Williams. He is a Veteran having served with the U.S. Army. Vernon enjoyed camping, fishing and gardening. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Lu-Ann, a daughter Pamela Alden and special friend Duane Ramel; sons, Thomas Williams and wife Jayme and Daniel Williams and wife Anne. Also surviving are three brothers, two sisters, five grandchildren and two and a half great-grandchildren. Per Vernon’s request there will be no services and cremation has taken place.
