Veronica Jean Nez

Veronica Jean Nez, beloved Wife, Mother, Grandma, and Great Grandma, passed on from this life on November 4, 2023.  Veronica “Ronnie” was born August 1946 to Charlie Thomas and Lucy Dennison.  She was a member of Netherwood Church of Christ.  Ronnie is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Daniel Nez, son Darnell, grandsons Micheal Jr and James, her parents and a brother.  She is survived by her “kiddos” Maureen & husband Michael Manuelito; Deanna & husband James B. Moore; Jerald Nez & Lita Foster; Dedra Kinsey; Daniela Rios; Wilfred & wife Clancey Nez.  Her grandchildren Michaelina, Kathryn, Maurice, Kwantell, Jacob, Michelle, Jennifer, Tamia, Jasmine, Ayanna, and Zoe; great-grandsons Duane, Maruice Jr. and two more on the way.  Her sister Patrica Begay plus numerous nieces and nephews. 

Service will be held at Netherwood Park Church of Christ, 5101 Indian School Rd, Albuquerque NM on November 11, 2023, at 10:30 am.  Ronnie will be laid to rest with her loving husband at Santa Fe National Cemetery in a private burial. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests new unopened packaged socks (men’s or women’s) to be donated to the New Mexico VAHCS Clothing Closet.
