Vianes E. Martinez

MARTINEZ-Vianes E. Martinez, 82, a lifetime resident of Corrales, NM passed away Thursday, October 28, 2010. He is survived by his children, Joe Martinez of Corrales, NM, Rita Baca and husband Phillip of Albuquerque, NM, Ruth Martinez-Soto and husband Art of Albuquerque, NM, Daniel Martinez and wife Mitzi of Corrales, NM.; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brothers, Horacio Martinez and wife Triny of Corrales, Elsie Saiz and husband Arturo of Albuquerque, NM, Lucy Jaramillo and husband Robert of Los Ranchos, NM, Helen Gurule and husband Gilbert of Alameda, NM, Rebecca Smoot and husband Carlton of Edgewood. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice in 1997. Vianes loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed gardening and the New Mexico outdoors. He was a perfectionist both at home and at work and was well known for his red and green chile. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am, Thursday, November 4, 2010, Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Road Chapel, 4310 Sara Road SE and Meadowlark Lane (inside Vista Verde Memorial Park), Rio Rancho, NM.
