Victor S. Benavidez

BENAVIDEZ - Victor S. Benavidez, age 81, beloved father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully, Monday, October 11, 2010, while surrounded by his family. He was born in Los Lunas, NM and was a resident of Bernalillo, NM. Victor served his country in the United State Air Force. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jackie Hernandez; his parents, Maria and Hipolito Benavidez; brothers, Eloy, Sosemo, Joe, and Oliver Benavidez; sisters, Toni Lucero, DiGita Olguin, and Dome Sanchez. Victor is survived by his loving children, Randy Benavidez, Linda Muniz, Leroy Benavidez, Diann Garcia, James Benavidez, Dale Benavidez, and Christopher Benavidez; 38 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; his brother, Danny Benavidez; and sister, Polly Benavidez. Victor will be greatly missed by all. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Bernalillo.
